I got them done with Kate at Inka Tattoo's in Brighton. They took about 8/9 hours in total -in two separate sittings, but as you can see it was well worth it. Kate was great and despite the pain she was inflicting, she made it really enjoyable and I will definitely be returning to her chair for some more!
I am not awake...

In Da Hooooood!
Before getting my hair cut Saturday just gone, I found this amazing company in a magazine.
Merrimaking, a 'boutique design house dedicated to playful, bespoke pieces' They create super cute animal hoods, with customised lining for only £25.
If, for some crazy reason you don't like any of the designs you can ask them to create an hood in you're choice of animal, colour and lining for only £5 extra! They even recycle old fabrics to use as linings, so you're even less likely to find someone with the same hood as you!
I can tell already these are going to be a massive hit at festivals this year, maybe I'll get one before Reading to get ahead of the game.

Tattoo, tattoo, tattoo!
Although I'm not long out of the studio from my last tattoo, I'm already getting a niggling urge to start planning another, not that fuckyeahtattoos helps... Here's a few inspiring pictures I've found!
Obviously it's going to be a while until I'm that covered,
so at the moment I'm considering a smaller tattoo like the below.
Who knows, maybe someone lovely will get me some time in the chair for my birthday and I'll get a permanent little keepsake for my 21st.

Long Time No Post.
So, the past few months have been spent getting new tattoo's, enjoying time home with friends and stupid amounts of Uni work, which explains why the lack of posts. But now most of my college works out of the way for this year and its almost time to go home for summer, so its about time I hopped back on the blogging band wagon.
For the first post back I'm going to grace you with some of my amazing photography... or rather the happy accidents that occurred whilst messing around on my lovely friend Sarah's camera!
Here are three of my favourite, it seems Sarah always makes a good photo!
My lovely boyfriend just spent a small fortune on a new Cannon 60D,
so hopefully if he let's me play with it I'll be to take nice photos like this all the time.

Probably the warmest slippers in the world..
Found them on "not on the highstreet".com, definitely something I'd want on those cold winter nights... even if they are £45!

The girl who hid in bins.
Currently doing a project writing/ illustrating my own childrens book to enter in the Macmillan Prize. The competition is fierce as its open to everyone in higher education but hey even a chance of winning the top prize of £1000 would be nice.
The basis of the competition is to Illustrate a children's book for around the age of 5. Either creating your own story or doing original images to a traditional story. He's some of the images from entrants of previous years;
All these won a prize or were 'highly commended' so I'm not getting my hopes up when I'm against this standard of Illustration, but I'm looking forward to start illustrating my story. I wanted to base it on something that happened to me as a child, such as me loving to hide in bins. Its shaping up to be a cautionary tale for children not to hide from their parents but who know what it might turn into, the stories not overly important as long as the drawings show a narrative in an interesting and original way. Hopefully have some initial sketches to put up in the next week.
